The Austvision frameless glass low cost canopy package is designed as a modular concept, catering for technically able persons and semi skilled glaziers to complete the installation.
The guide in the brochure enable the customer to select the size and corresponding thickness of glass and number of modules per length to suit the application.
TOUGHENED (TEMPERED) GLASS PANEL
A wide range of toughened glass and toughened laminated glass panels available with patterns and colours to suit the purpose and/or preference. Generally, toughened glass panels are used up to 3.0m high and toughened laminated glass panels are used for any height of the building.
STAINLESS STEEL BRACKETS AND FITTINGS
Austvision stainless steel wall brackets and glass fixing fittings are manufactured from the Lost Wax Investment process using marine grade AISI (UNS) 316 austentitic stainless steel - giving a high quality finish and excellent performance.
STANDARD FEATURES
The Austvision modular low cost frameless glass canopy package is supplied with custom selected articulated swivel head stainless steel glass fixing 60/30 to enable the glass panel to tilt up to 6 degrees in any direction to achieve the required sloped angle. The supporting rod length can be shortened or extended by 20mm and the installation can be completed in one visit.
GLASS PANEL GUIDE
The selection table given serves as a general guide only and is based on standard service conditions of wind pressure 1.0kPa with standard maintenance load 1.10kPa. Any condition outside the mentioned standard conditions will require to be confirmed by the glass manufacturer.
Note: For frameless glass canopy requiring certification by a building authority and/or city council, please consult a certified consulting engineer.
